Tips & Strategy
Corners first, then edges
Corner and edge tiles have the fewest possible homes — lock the frame in place first and the interior becomes a much smaller puzzle.
Follow the strong lines
Horizons, robes, rivers, and rooflines run across tile boundaries. Find two tiles that continue the same line and you’ve found neighbors.
Sort by sky and ground
Even scrambled, tiles betray their altitude — bright sky tiles belong up top, darker ground tiles below. A quick light-to-dark sort places half the grid.
Squint at the thumbnail
When you’re stuck, stop reading tiles and squint at the whole board. Blurring the details makes misplaced colors jump out immediately.
Scripture Spotlight
A God who restores
Putting a broken image back together is one of the Bible’s favorite pictures of what God does. He rebuilds ruined walls, returns exiles, binds up the brokenhearted, and promises to "restore the years the locusts have eaten." Restoration isn’t a side theme of Scripture — from Eden lost to the New Jerusalem, it is the plot.
So there’s a small sermon hiding in this puzzle: the scattered tiles were never garbage, just a whole picture waiting to be reassembled. Each day’s finished image opens onto the story it depicts — and the stories, again and again, are about broken things made whole.
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten — my great army that I sent among you.”
Joel 2:25
“He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”
Psalm 23:3
