Getting Started
How to Play
Read the day’s theme and the list of hidden words — every word ties back to it.
Drag across letters in the grid to select a word; words can run in any direction, including backwards and diagonally.
Found words get crossed off the list, so you always know what’s left to hunt.
Find every word to finish the day’s grid and log another day on your streak.

Tips & Strategy
Hunt the rare letters first
Scan the grid for the letters that barely appear — Q, Z, X, J, K. A word like ZION or JERICHO practically waves at you once you spot its rarest letter, and each find shrinks the haystack.
Work the list, not the grid
Staring at the grid hoping a word appears is the slow way. Pick one word from the list, hold its first two letters in mind, and sweep the grid row by row for that pair.
Expect backwards and diagonal
The sneakiest words read right-to-left or slope across the grid. When a word refuses to turn up, deliberately re-scan for its LAST letter and trace backwards.
Let doubles be landmarks
Words with doubled letters — MANNA, SABBATH — are easy to verify: find the double first, then check both ends. It’s often faster than searching from the front.
Scripture Spotlight
Seek, and you will find
There’s something fitting about hunting for words hidden in plain sight. Scripture keeps promising that seeking pays: wisdom is found by those who search for it like silver, and God tells the exiles in Babylon that they will find him "when you seek me with all your heart." The posture of the search — patient, attentive, expectant — is itself a spiritual skill.
Each day’s grid gathers its words around one theme from the Bible: the armor of God, the fruit of the Spirit, the towns of Galilee. By the time you’ve crossed off the last word, you’ve effectively meditated on a passage for five minutes without it ever feeling like homework.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13
“If you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.”
Proverbs 2:4-5

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the hidden words follow a theme?
Yes — every grid is built around one Scripture theme, like the plagues of Egypt or the names of the apostles, so the word list doubles as a mini Bible study.
Can words run backwards or diagonally?
They can. Words hide in every direction — forward, backward, up, down, and along both diagonals — which is what keeps a "relaxing" puzzle genuinely interesting.
Is there a time limit?
No timer, no pressure. Word search is the most unhurried game on TriviaPew — take it slow with your morning coffee. Only finishing the grid counts toward your streak.
Is there a new grid every day?
Yes — a fresh themed grid is published daily at midnight UTC, the same for every player.
